GeekHampton® is the Hamptons' only Premier Provider® with a large selection of Apple® products including, Mac®, iPad®, iPod®, Apple Watch®, and accessories. We specialize in on-site and in-store troubleshooting as well as on-site and in-store tutoring. We are an Apple Authorized Reseller and Apple Authorized Service Provider. We sell everything Apple except the iPhone, but we do have iPhone accessories and we repair iPhones, including same-day iPhone screen repair.
We have over 20 years of experience in using and fixing computers. GeekHampton provides service throughout the East End, including Montauk, East Hampton, Southampton, Bridgehampton, Sag Harbor, Amagansett, Water Mill, Wainscott, and Hampton Bays. Our service area includes the North Fork too. Services are provided either on-site, at your home or office, or at our store location, GeekHampton, 34 Bay Street in Sag Harbor.
About Founders Sheryl Heller and Mike Avery
Sheryl Heller and Mike Avery started Twin Peaks Geeks in 2000 as a small two-person, home-based business providing on-site technical service and tutoring to the Apple users of the East End of Long Island and New York City.
Originally from Long Island and Connecticut, Sheryl and Mike had been living for a decade in the Twin Peaks area of San Francisco where nearly everyone used a Mac computer. Sheryl soon discovered she had an uncommon knack for troubleshooting and assisting people with these popular computers and gradually started to build a consulting business out of their home. Mike also discovered a talent for understanding software and the creative capabilities of the Mac and became an expert on the operating system and programs like Photoshop, which was also increasing in popularily.
In 1999 Sheryl and Mike decided to return to Long Island to be closer to their families and together they officially began “Twin Peaks Geeks.” Sheryl focused on troubleshooting, repair, and consulting, while Mike primarily focused on teaching, tutoring and consulting. Initially they serviced all of Long Island and New York City, but after some time they discovered a hotbed of Apple users on the East End of Long Island and decided to concentrate their efforts in that region.
From the beginning, Sheryl and Mike determined that the keys to making their business successful were simple: deliver on what you promise, show up on time, have a helpful attitude, and actually fix people’s computer issues. With these values fueling their daily visits to customer’s homes and offices, Sheryl and Mike became the trusted, go-to technical support for thousands of Apple users throughout the East End.
In 2008 the in-home business grew to a retail storefront and service center in Hampton Bays and the name of the business was updated to “GeekHampton,” which made more sense for the East End community. In 2011 GeekHampton moved to Sag Harbor on Bay Street just a few blocks from Main Street. Today the store and service center include a beautiful showroom of Apple products and accessories as well as third party technology such as Sonos and Nest. Award-winning technicians consistently, year-after-year, provide excellent repair and technical services earning GeekHampton Apple’s highest designation of “Apple Premier Partner.” In-home tech and tutoring services continue to be offered providing first-class concierge service to clients who prefer to have someone come to their home or office rather than travel to the store.
GeekHampton is staffed with Geeks who are passionate about Apple products and who care about our customers. Many customers have been loyal patrons since the early days when Sheryl and Mike spent countless hours visiting people’s homes and offices. They continue to strive to provide excellent sales, teaching, and technical services with a helpful attitude and look forward to continuing to grow as part of the East End community.
